The Pakistan pavilion has become a major highlight at the 30th China Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair, impressing international visitors with an impressive collection of handicrafts. The five-day event, which started on July 6, offers a dynamic platform for global businesses to display their products and explore new business opportunities.

Leading the Pakistan pavilion is Kamil Muhammad, an experienced participant of the Lanzhou Fair, marking his seventh appearance at the event. Kamil’s showcase includes beautifully embroidered carpets and intricately carved onyx artifacts.

“Participating in the Lanzhou Fair is an invaluable opportunity for Pakistani businesses to expand their reach and enter new markets,” stated Kamil. “We are very appreciative of this platform and are optimistic about enhancing economic relations with northwest China and beyond in the future.”

Situated in the busy exhibition hall of the Gansu International Convention and Exhibition Center, the Pakistan pavilion is a favorite among attendees. The pavilion features a wide range of products, from elaborately stitched textiles to finely carved wooden items, demonstrating the artistic skills of Pakistani craftsmen and reflecting the country’s cultural richness.

Five Pakistani enterprises, each specializing in different sectors, are participating in the fair, offering a broad display of the nation’s craftsmanship and innovation. Since its inception in 1993, the China Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair has become a significant venue for promoting investment, trade, and regional economic cooperation in Northwest China.

This year’s event features over 1,800 exhibitors showcasing a diverse array of products across nearly 30 categories, including non-ferrous metallurgy, new materials, renewable energy, modern agriculture, petrochemicals, electronics, water resources, mineral resources, food processing, cultural tourism, healthcare, biopharmaceuticals, and consumer products.

The presence of the Pakistani delegation at the fair underscores the country’s dedication to exploring new markets and strengthening economic ties with China and other nations. The variety of products displayed by the five Pakistani companies highlights the vibrant handicraft industry in Pakistan and its potential for international collaboration and partnerships.
