The scholarship program, known as the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship, aims to provide opportunities for Pakistani students to pursue higher education in Hungary across a wide range of disciplines. These include Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD programs. The Hungarian government will cover tuition fees, accommodation, health insurance, and living expenses for the selected students.
Szijjártó acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts in maintaining regional stability and expressed Hungary’s solidarity with Islamabad’s peace initiatives. He also mentioned that around 1,700 applications from Pakistani students had already been received for the 400 available slots.
